FAQ

Requirements

What are the age requirements?

Passengers must be between 8 and 80 years old. Passengers under 18 require parental consent.

Are there weight restrictions?

Passengers must weigh between 30 kg and 120 kg for tandem flights. This is a safety requirement imposed by our equipment specifications.

Do I need any experience?

No experience is required! Tandem paragliding is suitable for complete beginners. Your certified pilot handles all the controls.

Are there any medical restrictions?

Passengers with heart conditions, epilepsy, severe back or neck injuries, or who are pregnant should consult their doctor before flying. Please disclose any relevant medical conditions when booking.

What to Expect

How long does the whole experience take?

Plan for around 1.5–2 hours total. This includes travel to the launch site, a full safety briefing and equipment fitting, plus flight time based on weather and wind conditions.

How high do we fly?

Depending on conditions and the launch site, we typically fly at 100–400 metres above the landing zone. Launches from Lantau Island can be from up to 934 metres altitude.

Is it safe?

Tandem paragliding is one of the safest forms of air sports when operated by certified professionals. We have an excellent safety record and only fly in suitable conditions.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing appropriate for the weather. Closed-toe shoes (trainers/sneakers are ideal). No sandals or flip-flops. Layers are recommended as it can be cooler in the air.

What should I bring?

Sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, water, and your camera or GoPro mount. Leave large bags and unnecessary items in your car or hotel.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If conditions are unsuitable on the day, we will reschedule your flight at no cost. We monitor weather forecasts closely and will contact you in advance if we need to change plans.

How much notice do you give for weather cancellations?

We aim to give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. In some cases weather changes rapidly and notice may be shorter. We will always rebook at no charge.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled flight. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. Weather cancellations by us are always free.

Can I take photos or video?

Yes! We highly recommend it. Bring a GoPro, action camera, or smartphone with a secure grip. We also capture your flight for free using GoPro and Insta360 cameras.
